Our team of coaches consists of highly qualified and motivated professionals, who are all experts in their field. With many years of experience in the industry, they have the expertise to provide the highest quality sessions to our clients.

John

FitCare Founder/Head Coach
John has had over 12 years of experience in both the fitness and care industry. Having worked with some of the Uk’s biggest names in commercial gyms & 5* hotels to then running his own private studios across Edinburgh he has the knowledge and understanding of what residents need to improve and to become stronger.

During his time as a coach he also worked alongside The Action Group as a carer for adults with learning disabilities, this vital experience has allowed FitCare Scotland to have a great presence in organisations who support them!

After being asked to attend a care homes fitness session to advise the team on correct form and teaching he realised that if this home needs help then more will also, so he created FitCare and now supply’s the best quality fitness sessions and well-being services for care homes across Scotland!

Lynsey

Lead Coach/Senior Site Coordinator
With over 15 years experience working with the NHS, in a variety of roles and working with a unique mix of patients give Lynsey the skills she needs to be a great FitCare Coach!

Being level 2 chair based exercise qualified, Lynsey adds her own infectious personality into her classes for all to enjoy!

With experience both professionally and personally dealing with adults with disabilities, she will work closely with our sites who support disabilities and strives to create a class environment available to everyone.

John C.

FitCare Coach
John has been a fitness instructor for over 10 years. His passion is movement and keeping the body and mind healthy and strong.

John ran bootcamp classes in Germany for 9 years and competed in obstacle course races in many countries throughout Europe and the USA.

His belief stay healthy keep moving and preserve your youthfulness.

Kristi

FitCare Coach
With almost 10 years experience working within the NHS with elderly patients, Kristi has a passion for enhancing quality of life! In her opinion, Fit care makes this happen and is excited to be part of the team. Kristi has a bubbly, friendly personality and enjoys making people smile. She feels this will add a special touch to her classes.

Rebecca

FitCare Coach
Rebecca, or Bex, has worked in many different industries. She is from a fitness background and has worked with all ages – including older adults and mental health clients. 

She is particularly passionate about helping people stay active for all health reasons, but especially for depression and other mental health.

Ruby

FitCare Coach
Ruby comes to this role with a personal love of sport and exercise.

She is on her way to qualifying as a Physiotherapist with Robert Gordon’s University. In her NHS role Ruby has facilitated groups including Parkinson’s Disease pilates, stroke rehab, teen gym for teenagers who have cerebral palsy, and over 60’s seated exercise classes.

Ruby excels at applying her knowledge to adapt exercises so that anyone who wants to join in can participate fully. She is an excellent team player and motivator for anyone no matter their ability!
